Edith Diane's Story
Life
I have been teaching for eighteen years in Montgomery, Alabama. I feel completely fulfilled in my job, and very rewarded in watching my students grow every year. I achieved National Board Certification in 2003, an accomplishment that I am the most proud of in my professional life. I became a district finalist for the Alabama State Teacher of the Year in 2006.

ert Lynn, in June, 2007. We have two children. Robert Lynn "Jr." is twelve and Leah is eight. Leah attends the same school that I am employed with, and Robert Lynn attends an academic middle magnet. Family is very important to us, and we enjoy visiting my rather large family a lot in the summer when we have time for a lengthy visit. Our children are our joy in life. We love to get involved in everything--soccer, ballet, school trips, etc.
